Global Climbing Day

Global Climbing Day

Join us to celebrate the walls that unite us, not divide us.

4:00 – 7:00 : CLIMBING
7:00 – 10:00 : PARTY

Climbing is about community. Whether you’re climbing routes with a partner or bouldering with a crash pad party, climbing has the power to bring people TOGETHER.

In celebration of Global Climbing Day we will be offering day passes for buy-one-get-one-half-off (Or BOGOHO which is just really fun to say), and all members can bring a friend to climb for FREE! This will be for BOTH High Point Downtown and Riverside.

Want some sweet prizes? The North Face, Rock Creek and The Southeastern Climbers Coalition will all be there with gear for you to win by filling out your climbing bingo card. The North Face will also be donating $1 to the Khumbu Climbing Center for every climber who joins us for Global Climbing Day at High Point.

So come out and enjoy a day of climbing and community! It wouldn’t be a celebration without a party! We’ll have music from High Point DJ Wesley Walker. The Hunter Museum of American Art will have an art piece display to highlight the history of climbing in the area. There will be food, and we’ll also have beer from our friends at Oddstory Brewing Co. on the deck that evening. Party starts at 7:00!

REVIEWS

“As a full-time rock climber, my body is in a constant need of body work from the natural aches, pains, and imbalances incurred from my profession. Wes, being a climber himself, is able to pinpoint these problem areas and work them out in a way that allows me to perform at my highest level each time I walk into the gym or head outside to climb. I recommend his services to anyone who finds themselves fighting through muscle pain, whether it be related to climbing, traditional sports, or even too many hours spent behind the computer.”

Cody Grodzki,
Director of Routesetting, High Point Climbing + Fitness
USA Climbing Level 4 National Routesetter

“As a long-time professional climber and coach, I know that injury is a part of any sport. But nobody wants to be out of action longer than necessary! When my shoulder injury responded poorly to initial rehabilitation attempts, I chose Wes to help me get mobility back through massage. Wes was patient and easy to work with. Over multiple sessions Wes helped break down adhesions in the muscles that had been reducing my shoulder mobility. This allowed me to rehab the area and gat back to my everyday life!”
